The reason I think that this is a important article when talking about climate change is because in this article they talk about how scientist have relativity all come to an agreement that climate change is a real and pressing matter. They also agree that the longer we wait to do something about it the worse it's going to get, and one day if we never act the changes will be irreversible. Another important topic that this peace talks about is how the media portrays the discussion surrounding climate change. The media tend's to say that scientists are still debating wither or not it's real when in all actuality it's only the politicians that are still discussing it. Most scientist think that even if it turns out to be a false alarm then at least we started to work towards a cleaner earth.

OK, I like that you're going closer to a "direct" source of information, with less filtering than most sources. I just would have liked for the article to deal more with climate change itself, rather than the topic of whether scientists have reached a consensus on the topic. Though, I guess, in the current political state, maybe that is an important thing to emphasize.
